1. Our Commitment

At Fineline Systems we take pride in manufacturing and supplying high-quality Australian-made products. Every product is carefully inspected before delivery to ensure it meets our quality standards.

We comply fully with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees certain rights for customers in relation to faulty or defective goods.

2. Change of Mind or Incorrect Orders

Please choose carefully before placing your order. Because our products are custom-made to your specific measurements and design specifications, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect choices
  • Measurement or specification errors made by the customer or builder

Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or altered without written approval from Fineline Systems. Cancellation fees may apply.

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your product is found to be faulty, defective, or damaged upon delivery, we will, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, repair, replace, or refund the affected item.

To make a claim:

  1. Inspect your goods carefully upon delivery.
  2. Notify Fineline Systems immediately if there is visible damage to packaging or the product.
  3. Email us within 3 days of delivery, providing:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Clear photographs showing the fault or damage
  4. Retain all original packaging, as claims cannot be accepted without it.

4. Conditions of Return

  • Returns will only be accepted once authorised by Fineline Systems in writing.
  • Returned goods must be in their original condition and securely packaged.
  • If inspection confirms a manufacturing defect, we will cover the cost of repair, replacement, or refund.
  • If the returned goods are found not to be faulty, any associated transport or inspection costs may be charged to the customer.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method and exclude delivery or installation charges.

5. Australian Consumer Law Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
